                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A
                  RIGHT-OF-WAY FROM CHARLES S. SLOAN AND ALBERTA
                  C. SLOAN, RELATIVE TO CONTRACT NO. RW-5-96,
                  NORTH CHAMBERLAIN AVENUE, TRACT NO. 9, FOR A
                  CONSIDERATION OF TWO HUNDRED TEN DOLLARS
                  ($210.00).

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       purchase of a right-of-way from Charles S. Sloan and Alberta C.
       Sloan, relative to Contract No. RW-5-96, North Chamberlain 
Avenue,
       Tract No. 9, for a consideration of $210.00.
